Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") defines the acceptable and prohibited uses of Plugstash ("the Platform"). This policy supplements our Terms of Service and applies to all users.
2. Acceptable Use
You may use the Platform to:
- Share Claude Code skills, agents, plugins, and subagents with your team
- Discover and install tools shared by other team members
- Publish and read knowledge base articles about AI best practices
- Review, rate, and comment on shared items and articles
- Manage your organization's marketplace and members
- Participate in the gamification system (XP, badges, leaderboards)
3. Prohibited Conduct
You must not:
3.1 Harmful Content
- Upload items containing malicious code, malware, or security exploits
- Share credentials, API keys, secrets, or other sensitive data
- Submit content designed to circumvent security controls or gain unauthorized access
- Publish deliberately misleading or deceptive descriptions of items
3.2 Abuse of Platform
- Attempt to bypass rate limits, access controls, or authentication mechanisms
- Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the Platform
- Interfere with the Platform's operation or other users' experience
- Create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions
- Manipulate the gamification system (fake votes, reviews, or engagement)
3.3 Intellectual Property
- Upload content that infringes on patents, copyrights, trademarks, or trade secrets
- Share proprietary or licensed code without proper authorization
- Misrepresent the origin or authorship of content
3.4 Harmful Behavior
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other users through comments, reviews, or other interactions
- Post spam, advertisements, or unrelated promotional content
- Impersonate other users or organizations
- Use the Platform for any illegal purpose
4. Content Standards
All content submitted to the Platform should:
- Be relevant to the Platform's purpose (AI tools and knowledge sharing)
- Include accurate descriptions and documentation
- Follow your organization's coding standards and security policies
- Not contain hardcoded secrets, credentials, or personal data
5. Organization Administrator Responsibilities
Organization administrators are responsible for:
- Reviewing submitted items before approval
- Managing member access and roles appropriately
- Configuring data retention and security settings for their organization
- Reporting policy violations to the platform administrator
6. Enforcement
Violations of this AUP may result in:
- Content removal
- Temporary suspension of account privileges
- Permanent account termination
- Organization deactivation or deletion
The severity of the response will be proportional to the violation. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users before taking action, except in cases requiring immediate response (e.g., security threats).
7. Reporting Violations
If you become aware of a violation of this AUP, please report it to your organization administrator or the platform administrator. We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this AUP from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes through the Platform.
